Why you should invest in a Roswal Float or Gooseneck

  • Lifetime warranty (guarantee) on the structure of the build.

These units are built to last, you’ll never need to buy another unit unless you want to upgrade! These units are made from galvanised Australian steel, and then powder coated inside and out. Powder coating is a far superior product to paint, it is twice as thick and highly resistant do chipping, scratching, fading, corrosion, chemicals, and weather.

  • Built with horse safety and comfort as the foremost priority.

No expense is spared in the design of the float. A solid chassis with aluminium floor means you have no concerns of the strength of what your horse is standing on. Standard inclusions of a fully sealed rubber flooring providing comfort and grip, front and rear kickboards, divider padding, and plentiful ventilation offers transportation for your horse that is safe and will have them arriving in optimum condition at their destination.

  • Designed by a horse lover, rider and competitor.

After years of travelling horses in a myriad of different types of transport and brands, we know what’s important and what works in horse transportation. Our horses are part of our family and their wellbeing is always our priority. We also know what is needed as a competitor, and have options available for all levels of affordability.

  • Comfort, safety, and style and all legal.

We have designed our New Zealand trailers to be within vehicle recommended weight limits. Don’t risk your insurance or tow vehicle warranty by overloading. Our internal fittings are made of composite material which assist with keeping the weight of your trailer within legal requirements. All our floats are only offered with electric brakes for optimal braking, and have brakes on all axles.  It is a legal requirement that any float with a GVM over 2500kg has direct electric brakes controlled by an in-cab unit. The GVM is the weight of your float, plus horses, plus equipment – even if you are under the 2500kg GVM why would you not want to have the safest braking possible fitted to your float for the safety of your horses? This is why we manufacture all angle load floats and goosenecks with these brakes.

Floats and goosenecks are the way of the future. The cost saving of a Roswal means you can devote more to the other requirements of an equine lifestyle. Click here to see our cost comparison of a Roswal product versus a second hand truck for further assurance.
